This book lays out a seven-part framework for organizing the last chapters of one’s life, starting with laying the groundwork for a comfortable aging process to getting support in the last hours of life. Author Katy Butler includes stories and practical suggestions for taking action of one’s aging process.

The End-of-Life Handbook by Dr. David B. Feldman and Dr. S. Andrew Lasher (New Harbinger Publications, 2007)

This book seeks to demystify the clinical, emotional, interpersonal, spiritual, and practical aspects of end-of-life. Dr. Feldman and Dr. Lasher offer simple explanations for commonly used medical terms, and give step-by-step guides to help make it easier for readers to navigate a terminal diagnosis.
